FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner has been called in to the United States Men’s National Team for two 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches in November. In September, Turner started the first three games for the U.S. Men’s National Team in Concacaf’s final round of FIFA World Cup Qualifying. Turner established himself on the international stage as the Best Goalkeeper at the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup. Through 12 matches in his international career, he owns a 9-1-2 record with seven clean sheets.

With an unbeaten 11-0-2 mark at Gillette Stadium, Turner’s 17 wins this season are a new career high and club record.

Turner is not expected to miss MLS action as New England will conclude its record-setting regular season on Sunday, Nov. 7 against Inter Miami CF at Gillette Stadium (3:30 p.m. ET – TV38, myRITV, CoziTV, 98.5 The Sports Hub HD2, 1260 AM Nossa Radio).
