RECENT FORM VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION
It's been more than six months since the first meeting of the season between these sides, when the Union claimed a 2-0 win over the Revs on March 8 at Gillette Stadium. That result continued Philadelphia's recent run of success in this series, as the Revs are 1-5-0 in their last six showdowns with the Union, including three straight losses as Subaru Park.
Luca Langoni's 90th-minute equalizer rescued a point for the Revs (8-14-8, 32 pts.) in this past weekend's 1-1 draw with Toronto FC, leaving New England 10 points back of the final playoff spot with four games remaining. Mathematically the Revs remain alive in the postseason race, though they can't afford to drop any points through the season's final month, as a draw or loss on Saturday afternoon would officially eliminate them from postseason contention.
Philadelphia (17-7-6, 57 pts.) suffered a shocking 7-0 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC this past weekend, tying the largest margin of defeat in MLS history following a run of 5-1-2 in their previous eight games. Despite that setback, the Union remain atop the Supporters' Shield standings and boast one of the league's best home records with a 10-1-4 mark at Subaru Park, one of only two teams in MLS with one or fewer losses at home (along with Seattle). The Union will be in action midweek, visiting Nashville SC in the U.S. Open Cup semifinals on Tuesday night.
The Revs will be back home once again next weekend, hosting Atlanta United FC in Foxborough on September 27.
Overall Record vs. Union: 11-26-8

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Union 2, Revs 0 (March 8, 2025)

Saturday afternoon the Revs will wear the "Eastern White Pine" kit, which will serve as the club's Community kit for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Inspired by the Flag of New England on the 250th anniversary of its first use by New England colonies in the Revolutionary War, this is the first time in a decade that the Revs have paid homage to the historic Flag of New England in their kit design. While the Flag of New England has regularly been featured as a minor accent on the club's jerseys, the new kit's design iterates on past tributes by focusing on the Eastern White Pine featured on the flag.
This is the first season-long Revolution uniform to feature Forest Green as the leading color, accented by the club’s Heritage Blue, paired with white shorts and white socks.
