RECENT FORM VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION

The New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union have already met three times this year – once in the Round of 16 at the MLS is Back Tournament, as well as once apiece at each team's home venue. Having gone 0-2-1 in those battles the Revs will have the chance to even the series will two more matchups on the docket: on Monday night at Gillette Stadium, and on Decision Day (November 8) at Subaru Park.

Most recently these two sides met just over a month ago at Subaru Park, where the Revs played down a man for the final 34 minutes of the match, found an 81st-minute equalizer with Tajon Buchanan's first career goal, before Philly found a heartbreaking late winner in stoppage time. Looking back, Philly has dominated in recent history, as the Revs have won only once in their past 12 matches against the Union (1-8-3) dating back to September 2015.
Philadelphia is coming off a 2-2 draw at D.C United on Wednesday night. The Union have lost only one game in their past nine matches, going 6-1-2 in that span. This draw clinched the Union's berth to the postseason, as they currently sit at 2nd place in the East with 35 points. Meanwhile, the Revs are coming off six points taken in a two-game road swing at New York City FC and the Montreal Impact. These victories put New England at 5th place in the East with 28 points. With an opportunity for the Revs to make a statement by beating one of the top teams in the conference at Gillette Stadium, this will be a game that you won't want to miss.
