RECENT FORM VS. TORONTO FC

Wednesday night's battle at Gillette Stadium will be the 34th overall meeting between the New England Revolution and Toronto FC, since the Reds joined the league in 2007.

New England is winless against TFC dating back to September 2018, going 0-3-2 in their last five meetings. Most recently, Toronto took down the Revs 1-0 at Gillette Stadium in October 2020.

Toronto is coming off a demoralizing 7-1 loss at D.C. United, as the 26-year-old original MLS side set a new club record for goals scored in a single match. Toronto sits at the bottom of the MLS standings, going winless in their last seven matches (0-6-1) and 1-8-2 through their first 11 games (5 points).

Meanwhile, the Revs continue their reign at No. 1 in the East going 7-2-3 through 12 games (24 points). New England is coming off a wild draw at the Columbus Crew, as the two sides finished 2-2 in the Crew’s opening night at Lower.com Field.

As the Revs return home on Wednesday they're looking to stretch their perfect 5-0-0 record at Gillette Stadium to six games with a victory over Toronto. As the Revs look to stay atop the Eastern Conference standings and extend their home unbeaten run, this will be a must-see competition.

Overall Record vs. Toronto: 13-9-11
Home Record vs. Toronto: 10-3-5

Last Meeting at Gillette Stadium: TFC 1, Revs 0 (October 7, 2020)
Last Meeting at BMO Field: TFC 3, Revs 2 (March 17, 2019)

AMERICANA PREMATCH JERSEYS

The Revs will be sporting their 'Americana' prematch jerseys during warmups before each game throughout the month of July. Taking inspiration from the iconic USA 1994 World Cup shirt, the 2021 ‘Americana’ prematch jerseys aim to help all the U.S. sides commemorate Independence Day on July 4.

Fans can also purchase their 'Americana' prematch jerseys at the Gillette Stadium ProShop. These festive prematch jerseys are already sold out online at MLSstore.com.

SHOW YOUR COLORS

On Wednesday the Revs will be sporting "The Original," New England's primary kit designed as a nod to the club's original 1996 look. The sleek white stripe across the jersey echoes the angled stripes across the '96 kit, while the blue top is complemented by red shorts similar to those worn by the Revolution's first-ever squad.
