A trio of New England Revolution players – Henry Kessler (United States), Tajon Buchanan (Canada), and Francois Dulysse (Haiti) – have been named to preliminary rosters for the 2020 Concacaf Olympic Qualifying tournament, set to take place from March 18-30 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Kessler, who experienced his first-ever U.S. Soccer camp this past January when he was called in as part of the Under-23 squad for a joint camp with the full national team, is one of 48 players on the preliminary U.S. roster. Canada and Haiti both named the maximum 50 players to their preliminary rosters, with Buchanan and Dulysse (a 2021 SuperDraft pick) making the cut, respectively. Those rosters will be trimmed to 20 players no later than 10 days prior to the start of the competition.

Group play begins on March 18 and the U.S. will face Costa Rica, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic with hopes of earning a semifinal berth. Canada and Haiti will battle on March 22, joined in a group by El Salvador and Honduras. The competition's two finalists will earn a spot for their country at the Men's Olympic Football Tournament at the Tokyo Summer Games, set to begin in late July.

Several players are currently in Foxborough as the Revolution have begun preseason preparations ahead of the 2021 MLS season, slated to begin on Saturday, April 17. The full MLS regular season schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
