What's up, Junior Revs!
April was an action-packed month for us! We earned three straight wins against Atlanta United, NYCFC, and Charlotte FC, with all being clean sheets! With only one home match last month, I still felt the buzz of everyone who attended. Fan Zone was full of people celebrating the history of New England with a fife and drum group and giant historical displays. On the pitch, Aljaz Ivacic, Ignatius Ganago, and Carles Gil all earned MLS Team of the Matchday spots for their stellar performances last month! Ganago and Leo Campana each netted their first goal for the Revs right here in front of you fans at Gillette Stadium! Last, but certainly not least, Carles Gil set a new club record for 74 regular season assists!
After the exciting conclusion to the April 9 match against NYCFC, the Revolution Amputee Soccer Team took to the pitch to battle Metro NY Amputee Soccer Team. The teams played in the Revolution Amputee Soccer Team's second annual, full-length exhibition match on the Gillette Stadium field. Ultimately, the Revs were able to take home another victory, with the Amputee Team coming away with a 5-0 win! Congrats on all the hard work and we can't wait to see more wins!
Looking ahead to this month, make sure you join us at home on May 17 as the Revs take on the San Jose Earthquakes! This match will celebrate the vibrant cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands for our second annual AAPI night. Make sure to check out Fan Zone for music, dance performances, and more!
For this month's activity, I've added another coloring sheet! Have you ever wanted to design your own soccer ball? Here's your chance! Get creative and make sure to share your drawings with me!
