Hey Junior Revs!
Happy New Year! I hope that all of you enjoyed time with your family and friends over the holidays. Can you believe that the Revs are back in action next month?! The offseason has flown by, but that is fine by me! The Revs open the season on February 21 at Nashville SC for the second straight season. Just two weeks later, the Revs host Houston Dynamo FC on March 7 for the 2026 Home Opener!
As always, the offseason brings player movement for the team. We had to see a couple of fan-favorite players depart the club in Brandon Bye and Tomás Chancalay, but we were also able to welcome a couple new additions. The first new acquisition came via a trade with Houston Dynamo FC. The Revs acquired youth international midfielder, Brooklyn Raines, in a cash-for-player trade. The second addition was American defender, Ethan Kohler, from SV Werder Bremen. Everyone make sure to give a warm New England welcome to the new signings! I know I can’t wait to see what they bring to the pitch this season!
Ahead of the regular season, the team will make its annual preseason trip down to sunny Florida. The Revs will play four matches before returning to Foxborough for one last tune-up match against Hartford Athletic.
I can’t wait to have another exciting year with all of you Junior Revs members! As always, don’t forget to follow me on social media (@REALSlyde) to stay updated with the latest news and updates, or reach out to through email at Slyde@revolutionsoccer.net. See you all soon!
Go Revs!
