TUCSON, Ariz. – Zach Herivaux is likely to miss at least the New England Revolution’s season opener against the Colorado Rapids after suffering an injury in the Revs’ preseason meeting with the Houston Dynamo last Wednesday night.

Herivaux injured both his ankle and his knee when he was scythed down by Dynamo midfielder Juan David Cabezas in the 58th minute of that match, and after being forced out of the Revolution’s Desert Diamond Cup opener, the Homegrown midfielder will have to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

“It was a pretty nasty challenge, in the end, with an ankle and a knee,” said head coach Jay Heaps. “He’s okay. He’s got a couple more weeks of treatment.”
