FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (September 11, 2023) – New England Revolution defender DeJuan Jones has been called in to the United States Men’s National Team ahead of Tuesday’s friendly against Oman at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn. (8:30 p.m. ET – TNT, Universo).

This marks Jones’ third call-up to the U.S. senior national team as the left back looks to build on his six international appearances with the Stars and Stripes. Jones, 26, was last selected for the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, where he recorded two assists across four starts. Prior to his summer selection, the Michigan native was selected for international friendlies in January, making his senior team debut on Jan. 26, 2023 against Serbia. Jones was also selected for the national team’s January Camp in 2022.

New England selected Jones with the 11th-overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. In his MLS regular season career, the fifth-year defender owns 119 appearances, 105 starts, six goals and 17 assists, plus six additional starts in the MLS Cup Playoffs. This season, Jones has appeared in 19 matches, starting 18, with one goal and four helpers.

The New England Revolution return to action next Saturday, September 16 on the road against the Colorado Rapids (9:30 p.m. ET). Watch the match on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV or listen on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ-FM) and 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA (Portuguese).
