Academy Update | U17s and U15s compete at GA Cup in Salt Lake City

Under-17 starting XI 2020 Generation Adidas Cup

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Revolution Academy's Under-17 and Under-15 teams traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah over Presidents’ Day weekend to participate in the second round of Generation Adidas Cup qualifying at the Real Salt Lake Academy.

Following the second round of qualifying action, the Revolution U-17 side, coached by Patrick Ouckama, will compete in Division 3 of the Generation adidas Cup Finals at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas. After completing their slate of three matches in Utah, the Under-15 side fell short of qualifying for the final eight-team international challenge.

The spring season for all four Revolution Academy teams kicks off again in March. The U-14s, U-15s, and U-17s begin play at Gillette Stadium on March 1, all with matches against the Boston Bolts. The U-19s begin a week later when the New York Red Bulls U-19s pay a visit to Gillette Stadium on March 8.
