2011: Did not make an appearance in the MLS regular season. Formally joined the club on April 8 after signing in late March. Entered as a halftime substitute at center back in the friendly against Manchester United (July 13). Started both of the team’s U.S. Open Cup MLS Play-In matches at center back - at D.C. (April 26) and at Kansas City (May 25). Made seven starts at center back in MLS Reserve League action. Scored a goal at Toronto (June 21).

COLLEGE: Played four seasons at Winthrop University (2005-08), earning all-region honors as a senior in 2008 … made 80 appearances – 79 starts – and scored five goals and added 11 assists in his career … as a sophomore, recorded four goals and three assists in 22 games … had a career-high five assists out of the back as a senior … suffered a leg injury suffered in his final collegiate game – against William & Mary in the 2008 NCAA Tournament – which prevented him from participating in the 2010 MLS Combine, to which he was invited.
