RAISE YOUR COLORS

MATCHDAY GUIDE | Audi MLS Cup Playoffs | New England Revolution vs. Montreal Impact -

#RaiseYourColors to support the New England Revolution from home on social media during their postseason run.

The playoff campaign #RaiseYourColors carries over from 2019 and it originates from the chant "Mama, Mama," sung by the Revolution's loyal supporters in The Fort. The supporters mean so much to Revolution players, coaches and staff, and the organization chose this line from the meaningful song to help unify us all, as we push forward in the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs together.

RECENT FORM VS. MONTREAL IMPACT

It's officially time for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. The No. 8 seed New England Revolution will host a Play-In game against the No. 9 seed Montreal Impact at Gillette Stadium in a winner-take-all match to determine which side will continue to compete for the MLS Cup title.

New England and Montreal have already met four times this year – a trio of regular-season battles plus a showdown at the MLS is Back Tournament – and now they'll square off for a fifth time to start off the postseason. In their four previous meetings, the Revs have gone 3-1-0.

The Revs have lost to the Impact just once, in the regular season opener in February. New England is a perfect 3-0-0 in three games against their Canadian rivals since resuming play in the MLS is Back Tournament in July. Most recently these two sides met a little more than one month ago, as New England took down Montreal, 3-2, at Red Bull Arena.

This will be the first-ever time that New England and Montreal meet in the MLS Cup Playoffs. The winner of this game will advance to Round 1 of the playoffs to visit either the Philadelphia Union (No. 1 seed) or Toronto FC (No. 2 seed), while the losing side's 2020 season will be over. With the stakes so high, this will be a do-or-die game that you won’t want to miss.

Overall Record vs. Montreal: 12-10-3
Home Record vs. Montreal: 6-4-1

Last Meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 3, Montreal 1 (September 23, 2020)
Last Meeting at Montreal Impact (Red Bull Arena): Revs 3, Montreal 2 (October 14, 2020)

SHOW YOUR COLORS

MATCHDAY GUIDE | Audi MLS Cup Playoffs | New England Revolution vs. Montreal Impact -

On Friday night the Revs will be sporting "The Original," New England's primary kit designed as a nod to the club's original 1996 look, as Major League Soccer and the Revs continue their milestone 25th season. The sleek white stripe across the jersey echoes the angled stripes across the '96 kit, while the blue top is complemented by red shorts similar to those worn by the Revolution's first-ever squad.

You can own "The Original" by picking one up at the Gillette Stadium ProShop, or by ordering online HERE.
