Revolution Technical Staff (Mike Lapper, Mike Burns, Brad Friedel) touch on 1994 World Cup and 2026 United Bid

New England Revolution general manager Mike Burns, head coach Brad Friedel and assistant coach Mike Lapper (all part of the 1994 USMNT World Cup roster) touch on the importance of the 1994 World Cup in the United States (including several matches at Foxborough Stadium), and how a successful 2026 United Bid will benefit the growth of soccer in the United States once again.

Gillette Stadium is one of 23 candidate host venues and cities that were included in the Bid Book.  The full list of candidate host cities, which includes Boston, can be found here. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ is awarded to the United Bid, FIFA will select up to 16 host cities from the proposed slate of 23.
