FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution's new primary kit, which was unveiled on New Year's Eve, will officially go on sale to the public on Feb. 9.

UnitedHealthcare returns as the Revolution's kit sponsor, marking the eighth consecutive season the American health care leader will adorn the front of New England's jersey.

Featuring a two-toned, two-stripe pattern over the left half of the jersey, the new kit draws inspiration from the Boston Minutemen, a North American Soccer League club that played in Foxboro's Schaefer Stadium in 1976. The Minutemen claimed two Northern Division titles during the team's three-year run, and featured a star-studded roster headlined by Portuguese legend Eusébio, Australian international John Conye, and Harvard University standout Shep Messing.

"We're excited to introduce our new primary kit as we enter 2018 and near the start of the new season," Revolution President Brian Bilello said. "The kit draws on our region's soccer history, and I look forward to watching the team wear it with pride and represent New England this year."

The kit will also feature the club's customary contrast of white shorts and blue socks, the flag of New England on the back of the neck, and the American flag on the front half at the waist.

"UnitedHealthcare is excited to partner with the New England Revolution again this year," said Terry Clark, Chief Marketing Officer, UnitedHealth Group. "Our support goes beyond their success on the pitch, as we work together to make a difference in the community by encouraging Revolution fans to enhance their health and well-being."
