Revolution and Comcast SportsNet announce local broadcast schedule for 2016

Comcast SportsNet release DL

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution today announced that Comcast SportsNet will return as the club’s local broadcast partner for the seventh consecutive season. Comcast SportsNet will carry up to 29 regular season games, while the club’s remaining five will air on one of Major League Soccer’s national broadcast partners – ESPN, FS1, and UniMás.

Comcast SportsNet will continue to air the network’s recap and feature program, “State of the Revs,” which will run bi-weekly in addition to other Revolution features throughout the season.  Additionally, Comcast SportsNet will once again produce Revolution Postgame Live, a 30-minute postgame show with highlights, analysis, and interviews following select games. This year, host Dalen Cuff will be joined on-air by analyst Ethan Zohn. A former professional soccer player himself, Zohn reported for ESPN during the 2002 FIFA World Cup and has been an on-air analyst for various Major League Soccer programs since then.

98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ Radio) will return to broadcast the club’s games on the radio locally and, this year, will add 30-minute live postgame shows after the matches. The pregame, halftime, and postgame shows will be hosted by Rich Keefe of The Adam Jones Show and Rob ‘Hardy’ Poole of Bertrand and Zolak. They will be joined by analyst John Murphy, who served as a Revolution assistant head coach from 2000-2004. Club legend Shalrie Joseph – the Revs’ all-time leader in games played, games started, and minutes played – will also serve as an analyst for select matches.

Brad Feldman, a long-time fixture of Revolution broadcasts with more than 500 games of experience, returns for his 11th season as the club’s play-by-play man and 16th season as part of the club’s broadcasts. He will be joined in the booth for a third consecutive season by former Revolution assistant coach, World Cup veteran, and ESPN FC analyst Paul Mariner. Jessie Coffield returns to complete the broadcast team, serving as a sideline reporter for all Revolution home games while also filing video reports for revolutionsoccer.net.

Nossa Radio 1570 AM will return as the Revs’ Brazilian radio broadcast partner, airing Revolution games locally in Portuguese.
