Revolution Headlines: October 6

Headline News - Juan Agudelo

Headlines! Read all about it! Let’s start with the power rankings, specifically my personal favorite - Soccer America!

Per usual Soccer America has the Revolution ranked dramatically lower than the other polls. They have the boys coming in at number nine. Do you guys read any of the other polls? Or no?

MLS Soccer taps the Revs at number six. They called the performance against Chicago “sloppy at the back, imprecise up top.” Not much to add here except we were bummed too, you guys.

Sports Illustrated and ESPN FC both have the Revs ranked at number four. They both also pointed out that the Revs failed to clinch a playoff spot for the third game in a row. We. Get. It.

Bobby Shuttleworth is up for save of the week for his one handed block of David Accam in Chicago. It was magnificent so be sure to go vote here. I feel like if you have a sweet one handed save you should automatically win. Yeah?

Jermaine Jones joined Fox 25 for a one-on-one interview. They covered everything from his leadership on the field to his fashion sense. Jermaine did say no one can hold a candle to his style. Burn other Revs players!
