FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (11-11-9, 42 pts.) takes on the Montreal Impact (13-10-7, 46 pts.) at Stade Saputo on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m., with Comcast SportsNet broadcasting the game live on TV, and 98.5 the Sports Hub’s HD2 channel carrying the game on the radio.

The Revs enter Week 33 of MLS regular-season play three points out of the fifth and final playoff position in the Eastern Conference – and only five points separate the teams currently sitting in fourth through eighth. The Revs are in seventh place, while Montreal holds down the fourth position.

This will be the second and final meeting between the two clubs this season. Montreal earned a 4-2 win at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 7 in a game that saw Revs goalkeeper Matt Reis sent off in the fifth minute, forcing the Revs to play with 10 men for 85 minutes.

Setting the table for Saturday

Another shuffle in the standings
Following Saturday’s 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls, the Revs remain just outside the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference playoff race … following last weekend’s results, a total of four teams switched places with the Houston Dynamo moving up to third and the Montreal Impact falling down to fourth … the Chicago Fire jumped from eighth to sixth with a 3-0 win over D.C. Fagundez hits Revs milestone
Diego Fagundez scored his 12th goal of the season on Saturday in New York, and in the process, posted the team’s highest season goal-scoring total since Taylor Twellman scored 16 in 2007 … Fagundez’s 12th goal on Saturday pushed him past Saer Sene, who scored 11 in 2012, for the most recent season high … between 2008 and 2011, no Revs player scored more than eight goals in a season.

Reis still unbeaten
Matt Reis kept his 2013 unbeaten streak alive on Saturday as the Revs played to a 2-2 draw in New York … Reis has posted a 4-0-4 record in nine appearances in goal this season … Reis has posted an 0.74 goals against average, three shutouts and has allowed more than one goal in a game only once.

Tierney continues climb

Bengtson called up to Honduras
