FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The #1 overall draft pick in this January’s MLS SuperDraft – New England Revolution defender Andrew Farrell – is now a New Englander and wants to meet the Revs’ fans before the season starts next weekend.
On Sunday, March 3, Farrell will be meeting fans and signing autographs at the Gillette Stadium ProShop between 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
In addition to meeting Farrell – the Revs’ first-ever number one overall draft pick – fans will have the opportunity to get white adidas Revolution jerseys purchased at the event customized with “#2 Farrell” for free (normally a $20 charge).
Revolution Season Ticket Holders can also use their ProShop discount on the purchase of their jerseys.
Following a bye in Week 1 of the schedule this weekend as Major League Soccer kicks off its 18th season, the Revolution will open the 2013 season on Saturday, March 9, on the road against the Chicago Fire in a match that will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Network. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. 98.5 The Sports Hub will also carry the game on the radio.
