About the game...
It was a difficult first half for us. Tactically, we have things that we need to improve on. I think they got the ball in the middle a lot of the time. We needed to make some changes at halftime. Lee (Nguyen) helped us out with a fantastic goal. But after they got the goal in the second half, it was really difficult for us because we just wanted to push men forward.
About playing on the road...
Sometimes it works for you, sometimes it doesn’t... It wasn’t our best performance overall. It’s always difficult coming on the road. It was our first time here. We were maybe uncomfortable in a new place, despite the great atmosphere. Overall, we just have to keep our heads up and get ready for Saturday now.

About the game...
I think we did ok. We didn’t give too many chances. But unfortunately, I don’t think it was our best game passing. We gave a lot of balls away; we spread a lot of balls in the final third when we needed to be sharp.
What went wrong during the game...
When it came down to it, our final passes weren’t on and we didn’t cause enough problems for the Impact.

About the game...
Overall, it wasn’t a good performance. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough guys who had a good enough game. We lost the ball in areas where it cost us. It was good to get back in the game after the first goal. But in the second half, I thought we would could have come out little bit sharper, we were a little bit flat.
About their lack of sharpness tonight...
Every week, when we are able to break things down, it’s because it’s sharp. Guys have their first touch right and get a chance to score. Tonight, it just seems like it was one step away, one yard away...
About the season...
We play a lot of games in a short stretch, but we got to find a way. At this point, there’s got to be some guys that are accountable and some guys holding each other accountable.

On rebounding after letting in a late goal in the first half…
We didn’t let it get us down. We came into the locker room and there wasn’t a sense of feeling sorry for ourselves or here we go again. We are really pleased about tonight, but now we got a quick turnaround with Houston on the weekend.
On not using expansion as an excuse…
We don’t want to use that as an excuse. We don’t want that to be what we are about. Obviously we are an expansion team, but from day one we have always said that we expect more from ourselves.

On the game…
We played a pretty good first half. And even in the second, you can’t say that we let up. We played a simple game. Their goal was a little lucky. But once we scored the second goal, we played well defensively.
On how he feels with the team…
I felt good here from the first day. Everyone has treated me well. I know Felipe, and there are many who speak Italian here, so it’s been pretty easy to get into the group.

On the team’s reaction to giving up a late goal in the first half…
Our response to giving up that late goal in the first half tonight was good. We were all about being hard to play against and defending. Our team stayed focused, didn’t feel sorry for them and responded very well in the second half. There was a confidence on the field tonight, so there was no panic.
On having more wins in expansion season that Canadian cousin TFC or Vancouver…
I think we are moving ourselves along, but overall I think there is a little disappointment in some of our performances because we feel we are a good team. We don’t use the ‘expansion’ word anymore. We try to emphasize coming together as a group and how to deal with tough moments, and make adjustments, but the best part that after a crushing defeat last Saturday, we came back with a good performance.
On Patrice Bernier having to take the PK three times…
I was confident that if Patrice had to take the penalty kick 10 times, he would have scored every one. Patrice has shown a great proficiency in taking penalties and the whole team has confidence in him in those positions.
