MLS Disciplinary Committee Suspends and Fines Joseph

NEW YORK (April 10, 2012) – The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee today suspended New England Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for his reckless challenge that endangered the safety of his opponent. Joseph’s action occurred in the 62nd minute of the match between FC Dallas and New England Revolution Thursday, April 5th. Joseph will serve his suspension this Saturday when the Revolution play D.C. United at Gillette Stadium.


Fines collected will be donated to the charitable partners of MLS W.O.R.K.S. and the MLS Players Union.
