FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution today waived midfielder Ryan Kinne and forward Zack Schilawski.

“We want to wish Ryan and Zack all the best as they move into the next stages of their careers,” General Manager Michael Burns said. “Both were great professionals on and off the field in their time with us.”

Kinne, 22, made one MLS appearance in 2011 after the Revolution drafted him in the third round (42nd overall) in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. He also appeared in all 10 MLS Reserve League games in 2011, splitting time between the midfield and defense.

Schilawski, 24, made 50 MLS appearances, including 28 starts, in two seasons while scoring six goals and one assist. He recorded a hat trick in his first-ever appearance at Gillette Stadium on April 10, 2010, in a 4-1 win over Toronto FC to become just the third rookie in MLS history to score three goals in one game. The Revolution originally drafted Schilawski in the first round (ninth overall) in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.
