Brendan Faherty interviews New England Revolution Academy graduates Cole DeNormandie and Matt Keys about recent changes to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy schedule. Both DeNormandie and Keys say that if faced with the decision to play Academy or high school soccer, they would have chosen the Academy.
New to the Revolution, former Bayern Munich player Saër Sène will be added to the Revs roster upon receipt of his U.S. P-1 Visa and his International Transfer Certificate. Kevin Koczwara of The Soccer Guys agrees that French forward Sène could be a promising addition to the team, stating, “His size, 6’3″ 185 lbs, bodes well for him in a league that likes big, strong forwards who can win balls and hold up play, something the Revolution have lacked.”
Calen Sonneland commends midfielder Kelyn Rowe on his pair of goals in the Revolution’s 3-0 win against Boston College on Friday. Supplemental Draft picks Alec Purdie and Michael Roach were also highlighted for their action in the game.
