Jordan Branco (2008-09)
Jr. – F – Southern New Hampshire University
The Penmen finished their season with an 18-4 record, earning their most victories since 2002, and advancing to the Northeast-10 championship and the NCAA Division II quarterfinals. Southern New Hampshire was knocked out of the quarterfinals with a 1-0 loss to Franklin Pierce on Saturday, Nov. 19. Branco was second on the team with 10 goals and six assists in his 21 appearances, and earned 2011 Capital One Academic second-team, All-American and Northeast-10 third-team, All-Conference honors.
Scott Caldwell (2008-09)
Jr. – M – University of Akron
The Zips went 15-4-4 during their season and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament, but suffered a 1-0 loss to eventual national runner-up Charlotte on Sunday, Nov. 27. Caldwell started all 23 games, and scored a career-high six goals and added a career-high 11 assists. He earned 2011 third-team NSCAA All-America honors, second-team NSCAA Academic All-American, first-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region and first-team All-MAC honors.
Felix DeBona (2008-10)
Malaga CF (Spain)
After signing an amateur contract with Malaga CF during the summer following his 2009-10 season with the Revolution Under-16 team, DeBona now plays for Polideportivo Ejido, a club in the B side of the Segunda Division in Spain.
Cole DeNormandie (2009-11)
Fr. – F – University of Cincinnati
The Bearcats finished the season with a 6-11-1 record, but the young squad experienced growth that points toward a brighter 2012. DeNormandie made 18 appearances – all starts – as a freshman, scoring a team-high seven goals and adding one assist. The Lincoln, Mass., native also earned BIG EAST all-freshman honors and came in at No. 14 on TopDrawerSoccer.com’s list of Top 100 Freshman.
James Doherty (2008-09)
So. – D – Boston College
Boston College Men’s Soccer closed out this season on Nov. 20, falling to Rutgers in penalty kicks in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Eagles ended the year with a 14-6-1 record, and Doherty made one appearance – his first after redshirting his freshman season.
Felipe Fagundes (2008-11)
Fr. – D/M – University of Massachusetts Lowell
The River Hawks finished their season with an 11-7-0 record, and advanced to the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Conference tournament. Their season ended on Friday, Nov. 4, after a 3-2 loss to Southern New Hampshire University. Fagundes made 18 appearances – including 13 starts – and scored one goal.
Chris Foley (2008-10)
So. – GK – University of Hartford
University of Hartford’s Men’s Soccer closed out their 2011 season with a record of 8-9-4. The Hawks advanced to the America East Championship, but suffered a 4-2 loss to Stony Brook in the final on Sunday, Nov. 13. After transferring from Yavapai College, where he spent his freshman year, Foley did not see any action this season at Hartford.
Doug Hanly (2008-09)
Jr. – D – Fordham University
The Rams closed out their 2011 season with a 2-0 loss to Xavier in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday, Nov. 11, posting a final record of 11-7-1. Fordham also earned the NSCAA’s Team Academic Award. Hanly made one appearance in the season opener, before missing the remainder of the season with an injury.
Yannick Kabala (2010-11)
Fr. – F – Southern Hampshire University

Kabala made 20 appearances – including nine starts – and scored one goal and added three assists.
Sawyer Kisken (2008-10)

University of Chicago Men’s Soccer closed out 2011 with a 2-0 loss to Washington University on Saturday, Nov. 4, finishing the season with a 14-3-1 record. Kisken made 18 appearances – including six starts – and recorded two assists.
Sean MacDonald (2010-11)
Fr. – D – Southern New Hampshire University

Fabio Machado, Jr. (2008-11)

Machado helped the Barons win the Region XIX Division I Men's Soccer Championship title, earning Offensive Player of the Game honors for his hat trick in the final on Sunday, Oct. 30.
Homero Morais (2008-11)
Fr. – F – University of Massachusetts Lowell
The River Hawks finished their season with an 11-7-0 record, and advanced to the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Conference tournament. Their season ended on Friday, Nov. 4, after a 3-2 loss to Southern New Hampshire University. Morais made 17 appearances – including 15 starts – and was named 2011 Northeast-10 Conference rookie of the year for his five-goal, three-assist effort.
Juan Moreira (2008-11)

Cody Osgood (2008-10)

The Falcons ended their 2011 season with a 2-1 loss to Southern New Hampshire University in the Northeast-10 quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 1, finishing with an overall record of 9-7-2. Osgood made 17 appearances, scoring four goals and adding three assists.
Evan Polanik (2008-09)
Jr. – GK – Holy Cross
The Crusaders finished their season with a record of 2-13-2. Closing out 2011 on a positive note, Holy Cross earned a 1-0 win over American University on Saturday, Nov. 5. Polanik made six appearances in goal – all starts.
Michael Rincon (2008-11)
Fr. – F/M – Merrimack College
With a 9-7-3 record, the Warriors compiled their eighth-consecutive winning record in 2011. Merrimack advanced to the Northest-10 Championship quarterfinals, before falling to Le Moyne on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Rincon made 19 appearances – including 17 starts, scoring two goals and adding three assists.
Ruben Resendes (2008-09)
Jr. – M – Southern New Hampshire University
The Penmen finished their season with an 18-4 record, earning their most victories since 2002, and advancing to the Northeast-10 championship and the NCAA Division II quarterfinals. Southern New Hampshire was knocked out of the quarterfinals with a 1-0 loss to Franklin Pierce on Saturday, Nov. 19. Resendes earned Daktronics first-team all-region honors and Northeast-10 Conference first team honors. He started each of the team’s 22 games, scoring three goals. He also led both the team and the NE-10 with 11 assists.
Daniel Sangster (2008-09)
So. – D – University of Massachusetts Amherst
The Minutemen went 4-13-2 during the 2011 season, closing out the year with a 1-0 loss to the University of Rhode Island on Sunday, Nov. 6. After transferring from University of Hartford, where he spent his freshman year, Sangster made15 appearances – including two starts – with UMass.
Jose Silva (2008-11)
Fr. – GK – Merrimack College
With a 9-7-3 record, the Warriors compiled their eighth-consecutive winning record in 2011. Merrimack advanced to the Northest-10 Championship quarterfinals, before being eliminated by Le Moyne on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Silva did not see any action this year.
Daniel Tchen (2008-11)
FC Copenhagen (Denmark)
Tchen joined FC Copenhagen’s Under-19 team following his 2010-11 season with the Revolution Under-18 team.
Jan Trnka-Amrhein (2008-09)
Sr. – GK – Duke University
The Blue Devils closed out the season with a 2-1 loss to the University of New Mexico in the second round of NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. Duke compiled an 11-8-3 record in 2011 and also earned the NSCAA’s Team Academic Award. Trnka-Amrhein made one appearance – a start.
Chris Tsonis (2008-09)
So. – F – Southern New Hampshire University
The Penmen finished their season with an 18-4 record, earning their most victories since 2002, and advancing to the Northeast-10 championship and the NCAA Division II quarterfinals. Southern New Hampshire was knocked out of the quarterfinals with a 1-0 loss to Franklin Pierce on Saturday, Nov. 19. Tsonis earned Daktronics All-America honorable mention and first-team all-region honors. He was also a Northeast-10 first-team selection for his conference-leading 17 goals and four assists in 21 appearances – all starts.
Jonni Ventura (2008-10)
So. – F – Mercer Community College
The Vikings ended their season with an 11-7-1 record. Mercer played its last game on Sunday, Oct. 30, suffering a 3-2 loss to Burlington in the Region XIX Division I Men's Soccer Championship final. Ventura earned 2011 All-Garden State Athletic Conference Division I and All-Region 19 Division I honors.
Joshua Vlasich (2008-10)
So. – F/M – Siena State
Siena Men’s Soccer finished the 2011 season with a 5-9-4 record. The Saints advanced to the quarterfinals of the MAAC Championships, but fell, 4-3 on penalty kicks, by Iona on Friday, Nov. 4. Vlasich made 17 appearances – including five starts – with Siena, scoring three goals and adding one assist.
