ESPN Boston has news and notes for this weekend’s matchup against San Jose

The Revs have three games remaining in the 2011 campaign, and as Coach Steve Nicol is quoted in New England Soccer today the approach remains the same: “We have to go about it the same way we did [Saturday],”

Revs’ keeper Bobby Shuttleworth will get the start on Saturday replacing the injured Matt Reis, and as Shuttleworth tells’s Kyle McCarthy, “At the end of the day, we're playing for this club and we have to represent the club in the best way.”

According to a study mentioned by the Associated Press in today’s Boston Globe, “the percentage of minority players in MLS also increased to 48 percent, its highest level since the institute started gathering figures on the league in 1998.”
