CSN to air Spanish language telecasts

BURLINGTON, MA - Comcast SportsNet, home to New England Revolution soccer, proudly announces a new partnership with Telemundo Boston to air Revolution games in Spanish. Select games, starting with the Philadelphia Union vs. Revolution match on Sunday, July 17, will be offered in Spanish on Comcast SportsNet via the SAP feature and can be seen on Telemundo Boston the day following the scheduled match.

Omar Cabrera, Telemundo Boston’s sports contributor, will call the Revolution matches in Spanish throughout the season. Cabrera, a native of El Salvador, was raised in Boston , and has extensive experience covering local sports. Formerly, Cabrera was the co-host for the Sports Segment on Boston Latino TV as well as the producer and anchor of the Sports Segment at WNUI’s live daily newscast. He also hosted and produced the popular weekend sports magazine show, “Fútbol y Más” on WUNI.
