Revolution releases Edgaras Jankauskas

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution released forward Edgaras Jankauskas today.  


Jankauskas, 35, signed with the Revolution on July 1, 2009, and made 14 regular-season appearances in one-and-a-half injury-marred seasons. The former Lithuanian international scored two goals and added one assist, both in 2009. In 2010,

The Revolution (7-14-5, 26 pts.) return to action on Saturday, Oct. 2, when they host defending MLS Cup champion Real Salt Lake at 7:30 p.m. Comcast SportsNet will televise the game, while 98.5 The Sports Hub will have the call of the game on the radio.


The team has also partnered with the Massachusetts affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for a breast cancer awareness night.
