U-17 Cup: Revolution 5, Toronto FC 2

New England broke out in a big way, pouring in four second-half goals from four different scorers to dominate Toronto FC by a 5-2 margin and finish in third place in Group C.


Tied 1-1 at the half, the Revolution got goals in the second from Peguy NgatchaCole DenormandieDiego Fagundez, and Felix DeBonna, who also scored the only first-half goal for the Revolution. While Toronto FC scored its first goals of the tournament, they were not enough to stop a spirited Revolution team in the second half.


Toronto's goals came courtesy of Kaheem Christopher and Eric Ngo. Toronto finished group play 0-3 but will have a chance to regroup in consolation games Tuesday and Thursday.
