Injury Report - July 20, 2010

The Revolution’s athletic training staff released the early week’s injury report. Three players have been upgraded, while one additional player has made the list.


NE Injury List - July 20, 2010

Probable: Pat Phelan (head laceration), Khano Smith (R ankle sprain)


Questionable: Nico Colaluca (R ankle sprain), Cory Gibbs (L quadriceps strain)


Doubtful: Zak Boggs (concussion), Jason Griffiths (L hamstring strain)


Out: Preston Burpo (R lower leg fracture), Edgaras Jankauskas (L adductor strain), Taylor Twellman (concussion)


Pat Phelan is added to the list as PROBABLE after suffering a head laceration during the Chicago match on Saturday. He received 12 stitches at the field after the game, and he is not expected to be hampered by the injury. After making a second-half substitute appearance Chicago on Saturday in his first appearance since mid-June, Khano Smith has been upgraded to PROBABLE.


Zak Boggs and Jason Griffiths have both been upgraded to DOUBTFUL following another week of off-field rehab. Griffiths continues to work on the side with the medical staff, while Boggs is making progress with his concussion he suffered last month.


Nico Colaluca and Cory Gibbs remain listed as QUESTIONABLE as they continue to rehabilitate from their respective injuries, while Edgaras Jankauskas remains listed as OUT.
