NE Injury Report – May 28, 2010

QUESTIONABLE: Mike Videira (L ankle Os Trigonum)

DOUBTFUL: Cory Gibbs (R hamstring strain), Emmanuel Osei (R leg infection)

OUT: Darrius Barnes (R ankle sprain), Nico Colaluca (L knee sprain), Matt Reis (L shoulder/knee surgery), Taylor Twellman (concussion)

After rejoining the injury list following a 45-minute performance against Chivas USA on May 5, Edgaras Jankauskas moved off the injury list following his successful rehab of his right hamstring strain. Also upgraded was Mike Videira, who has been moved up to QUESTIONABLE after returning to full training on Friday morning.

While Emmanual Osei remains DOUBTFUL while the infection in his leg continues to heal, Cory Gibbs came off from training on Thursday with a right hamstring strain and is also listed as DOUBTFUL for Saturday’s match. He did not train on Friday, but was at the stadium to receive treatment.

Darrius Barnes, Matt Reis and Taylor Twellman all remain OUT with their on-going injuries, but joining them on this list is Nico Colaluca who came off from training on Wednesday with a left knee sprain. This is the second time this season he’s suffered a sprain in that knee, as he was on the wrong end of a tackle earlier this year that kept him out the first few weeks of the season.
