The New England Revolution athletic training staff released the Tuesday injury report this afternoon, with three significant upgrades:

NE Injury Report – April 20, 2010

QUESTIONABLE: Zak Boggs (R knee & ankle sprains), Nico Colaluca (L knee sprain), Edgaras Jankauskas (R calf strain), Shalrie Joseph (R hip flexor strain)

OUT: Mauricio Castro (R ankle pain), Matt Reis (L shoulder and knee surgeries), Taylor Twellman (concussion)

Three players – Nico Colaluca, Edgaras Jankauskas and Shalrie Joseph – have all been upgraded to QUESTIONABLE on today’s release. With new, full week of training ahead, it will be interesting to see if any of the players can improve enough to enter into consideration for Saturday’s 18. Colaluca and Jankauskas both went full at training today, playing as neutrals in the small-sided game. Joseph was also outside working with the athletic training staff on the side as he continues to recover from his re-aggravated hip flexor strain. Zak Boggs has found his name on the list this week after getting tackled in training on Tuesday, and suffering sprains in his right knee and ankle. He will be monitored the rest of the week to see how he progresses from the injuries.

As for the OUTs, Mauricio Castro was out at training today for the first time since preseason, working with the athletic training staff on flexibility and fitness exercises. Taylor Twellman continues to stay involved with the team, doing warm-ups and passing before doing one-on-one fitness work. Matt Reis continues to do more work to rehab and strengthen his shoulder as he comes closer to his 3-4 month rehab period.
