2013: Drafted in the second round, 27th overall, by the Montreal Impact in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. Signed with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt before officially joining the Impact. Recorded one assist in seven games – including two starts – with Frankfurt II, the club’s Under-23 side playing in the German fourth division. Officially joined the Impact on July 5. Scored two goals in Reserve League action with the Impact, but did not appear in a first-team match.

COLLEGE: A four-year starter at college powerhouse Louisville … a 2012 first-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes honoree, as well as a first-team all-conference performer … capped a stellar four-year career as the school’s all-time assist leader with 23 career assists … as a junior, started all 23 games while recording six assists … as a sophomore, started all 23 games and finished second on the team with 10 points (two goals, six assists) while helping the team grab a runner-up finish at the 2010 NCAA College Cup … started all 20 games as a freshman, recording three goals and five assists, while earning BIG EAST all-rookie team and second-team Soccer America freshman all-America honors.

U.S. NATIONAL TEAM: Started three games as a defender with the Under-20 U.S. National Team in the 2008 Copa Chivas (Mexico) and attended development camps with the team in Portugal in 2008 and 2009… also a member of the U.S.’ Under-18 team that played in the 2009 Milk Cup in Northern Ireland.

PERSONAL: Son of Aldo and Michelle DelPiccolo … has twin sisters, Elena and Silvana, and one brother, Luca … his father played soccer at UCLA … played at Louisville with current Revs defender Andrew Farrell for three seasons and the two had an online video show, “Salt & Peppa” on YouTube.
