2012: Made 11 appearances – and five starts – overall on the season: 10 appearances (four starts) with Chivas USA and two appearances (one start) with the Revs. Recorded one assist on the season. Recorded his lone assist on the season onJuan Pablo Angel’s goal at New York (May 23) while with Chivas USA. His last appearance with the Goats came in a start at LA (July 21). Traded to the Revolution on Aug. 1 from Chivas USA and missed the first seven matches after joining the Revs because of left hamstring tightness. Dressed for the first time against New York (Sept. 22), but did not play. Made his Revolution debut in a start at central midfield against Chicago (Oct. 20), and then came on as a second-half substitute in the season finale at Montreal (Oct. 27) Started at central midfield against New York (Sept. 22) in MLS Reserve League action in his first Revs action since joining the club.

2011: Made 18 appearances, including 11 starts. Recorded three assists. Recorded his first assist of the season on July 9 in a 1-1 draw at Sporting Kansas City. Picked up his second assist in a 3-0 win over Houston at home on July 23. His final assist came on Oct. 2, on Juan Pablo Angel’s 90th-minute equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Philadelphia at home.

2010: Drafted by Chivas USA in the first round (10th overall) in the MLS SuperDraft out of Akron. Started all 16 games in which he played, but saw his season end prematurely because of a hamstring injury. Recorded three goals and one assist. Made his MLS debut in the Los Angeles derby against LA (April 1), earning the start. Recorded his first MLS assist on April 24 in a 3-2 win against San Jose, assisting Sacha Kljestan’s opening goal. Recorded his first career goal at New England (May 5), the team’s final goal in a 4-0 win. Also scored against Philadelphia (July 3, a game-tying goal) and the game-winning goal against Columbus (July 31).

COLLEGE: Spent three seasons at Akron ... started 65 of his 68 appearances in his career with the Zips ... scored seven goals and added six assists ... a two-time NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region and two-time all-conference performer ... helped Akron advance to the NCAA Championship game in 2009, which they dropped to Virginia ... as a senior, recorded career highs with five goals and three assists.
