Death, taxes, and Djordje Petrović being named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi.

The 22-year-old New England Revolution goalkeeper, who made his MLS debut in mid-June and has only appeared in 16 regular-season games, was honored once again for Week 29 of the MLS campaign, marking the sixth time he's been named among the league's weekly best as either a starter or on the bench.

This time it was a seven-save shutout effort in the Revs' 3-0 win over New York City FC that earned plaudits for Petrović, who made several highlight-reel stops to keep the defending MLS Cup champions off the board. The biggest of those saves came in the 13th minute, when he denied Santiago Rodríguez from point-blank range less than a minute after Jon Bell had given New England the lead.

Petrović maintained the clean sheet despite NYCFC racking up 17 shots and 2.1 Total Team XG, dropping jaws once again with another point-blank stop on Andres Jasson in the 53rd minute.

With three more shutouts through the Revolution's last five regular-season games, Petrović would match the Revolution's single-season record of 10 clean sheets set by Matt Reis in three consecutive years (2005, 2006, and 2007). Four more shutouts would establish a new record, despite the fact that Petrović has played just half a season.

The next chance for another clean sheet will be on Saturday evening when the Revs visit the New York Red Bulls. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET with coverage on TV38, myRITV, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and 1260 AM Nossa Radio.
