Originally spearheaded by Revolution midfielder, Kelyn Rowe, NEGU Crew is a program that gives young cancer patients associated with the Jessie Rees Foundation a unique and memorable game day experience. In 2021, Matt Turner will host patients at Revolution home matches during the season.
The acronym NEGU stands for “Never Ever Give Up”, a phrase adopted from the Jessie Rees Foundation, an organization that ensures every child fighting cancer has the support and resources they need to never ever give up. NEGU Crew aims to give each child a memorable experience as they continue their brave fight against this deadly disease.
The highlight of each “Matt’s NEGU Crew” experience is a postgame lap around the field with Matt Turner. The experience also includes a private suite for the patient and his or her family as well as a pregame meet and greet with Revolution players on the sidelines.
Stay tuned for an updated NEGU Crew schedule!
