Director of Marketing
Dave Campopiano is in his fifth season with the Revolution and his first in his current position after being promoted to Director of Marketing in December 2014. In his new role, Campopiano oversees and directs all aspects of the Revolution's marketing initiatives, including advertising, grassroots campaigns, promotional activities, fans' in-stadium experience and the club's community efforts.
Campopiano joined the Revolution in 2011 as marketing coordinator and during his time in the position, helped build and develop the club’s Junior Revs program as well as the club’s Pub Partner program. One season later, he was promoted to marketing manager, a position in which he created an enhanced college student program, which included a first-time college student season ticket and dedicated section for college students. He also managed the marketing staff's responsibilities on game days, including staffing, promotions and on-field activities. Additionally, Campopiano helped build and develop several of the club’s charitable initiatives, including Salutes to Heroes, Kids’ Night Out and the Revolution Drive Series.
Campopiano began his career in the sports industry, with several positions at Gillette Stadium, Providence College and Sports Radio WEEI-FM. At Gillette Stadium, Campopiano began as a quality control intern before transitioning into a part-time job in the ticket office. Prior to graduation, Campopiano also completed internships in the sports information department at Providence College and in the promotions department at WEEI-FM. Upon graduation, Campopiano took on the role of Promotions Assistant at WEEI-FM and eventually transitioned into the role of Promotions Director, where he directed all station events, promotions and branding, before joining the Revolution.
A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Campopiano attended Johnson & Wales University and earned a degree in Sports Management in 2007.
