The speedy Guatemala-born, Southern California-raised forward joined the Revs after signing with the Generation adidas program last year … can get in behind opposing defenders with his quickness and is remarkable good in the air for his size.
2006: Appeared in nine games, earning two starts, in his rookie campaign. Made his MLS debut on April 30 against Chicago in the Revs' home opener, playing the final 13 minutes as a substitute forward. Started his first-ever game on May 20 at Dallas. Appeared in front of his hometown Los Angeles crowd when he checked into the Revs' 1-1 draw against Chivas USA at the L.A. Coliseum on Aug. 6 in front of an MLS-record 92,650 fans. In his New England debut during the team's preseason training tour of Bermuda, scored a hat trick and added one assist in the Revs' 8-1 victory over the Bermuda U-20 National Team.
COLLEGE: A 2005 NSCAA/adidas first-team All-America selection and a two-time Big West Conference Player of the Year … scored 35 goals and had 83 points in three years at CSNU, and left the program as the sixth-leading scorer in school history … a first-team all-conference selection each of his collegiate seasons, becoming only the third Northridge player to earn the honor three times … was also the first Matador to earn All-Far West Region accolades three straight seasons.
