| Notes from the Azores: Carlos Llamosa |

Revolution central defender Carlos Llamosa dropped Revs fans a line from the archipelago of the Azores.
Hi everyone, I'm here to tell you about my trip with the Revs to the Azores islands. The flight on SATA airlines was smooth as could be. We then checked in to the Holiday Inn Azores in Ponta Delgada– one of the best hotels on the island of São Miguel. So far, we’re really enjoying it – we’ve found great rooms, good food and good service. We also have been provided with good fields for our practices and games. Right now, the team looks very sharp. We’ve already played two games and we looked good in both of them. The first game ended 6-1 Revs and, to be fair, we dominated most of the way. We beat a smaller Azorean team called Clube Desportivo São Roque and Taylor got a hat trick. It was a good confidence-building game. The second match came out 1-0 in our favor. This game was tough. The team we played, União Micaelense, was very good. Still, we were able to stop most of their attacks. Our team has looked good passing the ball and has also looked organized. I think the idea to do fitness and strength conditioning first in Boston and then to come here to the Azores get ready for the MLS season by playing friendly games was a good one. O.K., everybody. Bye for now from the Azores. Carlos Llamosa
