Telemundo Boston airs Spanish-Language Revs telecasts

Boston, Mass. - WNEU Telemundo Boston announced that it will continue to air select New England Revolution soccer games in Spanish. These games, starting with the Houston Dynamo vs. Revolution match on May 19, will air on Telemundo Boston the day following the scheduled time. In addition, Telemundo will continue to provide the simultaneous broadcast in Spanish via the SAP feature as part of Comcast SportsNet’s partnership with both Telemundo and the Revs.

“Salute to Heroes” this Saturday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – In conjunction with Armed Forces Day, the New England Revolution will offer a “Salute to Heroes” at this Saturday’s match against the Houston Dynamo at Gillette Stadium, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

The New England Revolution and New England Revolution Charitable Foundation have planned a series of events and activities at the match against Houston to celebrate the region’s military heroes, veterans and their families.

Academy product Caldwell focused on final year at Akron

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – In recent weeks many onlookers at New England Revolution training sessions have been left wondering: Who’s the new guy with the shaggy mane of curly hair?

It turns out the “new guy” is actually a familiar face in University of Akron midfielder Scott Caldwell, who’s currently in the midst of a four-week training stint with the Revs. Caldwell’s midseason visits to Foxborough have been a regular occurrence since the soon-to-be college senior graduated from the Revolution’s Academy program in 2009.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – This past weekend, the New England Revolution youth teams posted an unprecedented weekend in program history, going a combined 4-0-0 on the road in divisional play.

It marked the first time in program history the Under-18s and Under-16s both swept their weekend opponents on the road, as the Revs traveled to meet South Central Premier in Bridgeport, Conn., on Saturday, May 12, before taking on Oakwood SC in Portland, Conn., on Sunday, May 13.
