FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Major League Soccer announced today the lineup of home openers for the league’s 22nd season. The Revolution will begin the 2017 campaign with a trip to face the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, March 4 at 6:00 p.m. ET, before returning to Gillette Stadium for the home opener against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The Revs’ third game of the season will be FC Dallas’s home opener at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas on Saturday, March 18.

The complete 2017 MLS regular season schedule will be announced at a later date. New England Revolution Season Memberships and Holiday Packs for the 2017 season are currently on sale at 1-877-GET-REVS or by clicking here.

The Revolution will open the season with an away match for a ninth consecutive campaign with a trip to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. New England is 4-13-4 in away matches against Colorado and claimed a 2-0 victory in its last visit on April 4, 2015.

When the Revs return home to face Orlando City on Saturday, March 11, it will mark the earliest home opener in club history, edging last season’s opener on March 12 by one day. New England has earned a result in each of its last 10 home openers (6-0-4) and owns a 12-5-4 all-time record in opening games in Foxborough. The Revolution are 1-0-1 at home against the Lions and recorded a draw in the teams’ lone meeting at Gillette Stadium in 2016.

The team’s third match of the season will mark a rematch of the 2016 U.S. Open Cup Final as the Revolution return to Frisco, Texas to take on FC Dallas. Despite holding an 11-9-2 advantage in regular season away games against the 2016 Supporters’ Shield winners, the Revs will be looking for their first win at Dallas since 2008.
