Kamara Creates Team-High Three Chances

Forward Kei Kamara created three chances in tonight’s contest, which is a season high for the Sierra Leone Native.

Kamara led the team with four shots, marking the seventh time he has recorded at least four shots in a match as a Revolution player. The Revolution forward has recorded 47 shots in 14 MLS games with the Revs.

Herivaux Makes Third Consecutive Appearance

Midfielder and Homegrown Player Zachary Herivaux replaced defender José Gonçalves in stoppage time of tonight’s contest, logging one minute. The substitute appearance marked Herivaux’s third consecutive substitute appearance and fourth MLS appearance of the season.

Herivaux has also appeared in all four of the Revs’ U.S. Open Cup wins, totaling 225 minutes in the tournament. He logged 120 minutes in the Fourth Round victory at the Carolina RailHawks on June 15, totaled 58 minutes in the Round of 16 win at the New York Cosmos on June 29, played 37 minutes in the Quarterfinal win against the Philadelphia Union on July 20, and saw 10 minutes of action in the club’s Semifinal win against the Chicago Fire on Aug. 9.
