On Wednesday, June 15, 2016 the New England Revolution traveled to face the Carolina RailHawks in the Fourth Round of the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The match lasted 120 minutes (bested only by the 134 minute weather delay) with the Zach Herivaux scoring in extra time to give the Revs a 1-0 win.
