Youth Academy Teams vs. Albertson

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution’s Under-14 team returned to action at Gillette Stadium last weekend, where they took on Beachside SC on Saturday. The U-16s and U-18s were scheduled to play Beachside SC on Sunday, but both matches were cancelled due to inclement weather.


UNDER-14s

The Under-14s were back in action at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, when they fell 2-0 to Beachside SC. The Revs recorded 13 shots and dominated possession, but were unable to find the back of the net. Beachside SC’s David Alino recorded a brace, as he opened the scoring in the 47th minute and added a late goal from the penalty spot in the 64th minute.

The Revolution Under-18, Under-16 and Under-14 teams will be back in action this week. The U-18s and U-16s will travel to Whippany, N.J. on Sunday, April 10 to take on the New York Red Bulls U-18s and U-16s, respectively.  The U-14s will travel to Queens, N.Y. to play the Met Oval U-14s on Saturday, April 9.
