Kickoff times for Gillette Stadium’s Copa America Centenario games announced

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Kickoff times for the three Copa America Centenario matches that will be played at Gillette Stadium this June have been announced. New England-area fans will have the opportunity to watch at least two of the world’s top six teams in this summer’s greatly anticipated event.


Fans are encouraged to purchase Venue Passes to ensure the best seats at all three games at Gillette Stadium. Those who purchase their Venue Passes by Friday, March 4 will have the chance to enter a lottery to purchase tickets to the Copa America Centenario Final at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, June 26.

Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m. ET:
Chile vs. Bolivia in a Group D match


Sunday, June 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET:
Brazil vs. Peru in a Group B match


Saturday, June 18 at 7 p.m. ET:
1D vs. 2C in a Quarterfinal match

The first match-up features Group D teams Chile vs. Bolivia on Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m. Two days later, on Sunday, June 12, Brazil will face Peru in Group B’s final group stage match at 8:30 p.m. 


Chile is currently the world’s No. 5 ranked team in the FIFA rankings, while Brazil is the No. 6 team. Peru is No. 43, and Bolivia is No. 72.


Gillette Stadium will also host a Quarterfinal match at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, which will feature Group D’s top team against the second-place from Group C. In addition to Chile and Bolivia, Group D includes Argentina – the world’s No. 2 ranked team – and Panama. Group C includes Mexico, Uruguay, Jamaica and Venezuela.


Tickets to the Copa America Centenario are available by visiting CA2016.com. Fans have until Friday, March 4 at 11:59 p.m. ET to purchase Venue Passes and be eligible for the lottery to buy tickets to the Copa America Centenario Final.



Copa America Centenario will be televised around the world, and on the Univision Network and FOX family of networks in the United States. The full TV schedule is expected at a later date.


This historic tournament will feature the top star players from North, South and Central America, as well as the Caribbean. Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, David Luiz, James Rodriguez, Kaka, Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and many more are anticipated to take part.
