FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will play seven preseason matches in the month of February as the club prepares for the start of the 2016 MLS season. The first three games will be played during the club’s initial trip to Arizona, which runs from Jan. 26 until Feb. 6. The final four preseason games will be played as part of the Desert Diamond Cup, which will be held in Tucson, Arizona from Feb. 17-27.
After travelling to Casa Grande, Arizona on Jan. 26, the Revolution will open their preseason schedule eight days later, on Wednesday, Feb. 3, when they travel to Tucson to face the San Jose Earthquakes. The following day, the Revs will take on FC Dallas in Casa Grande before closing out the trip with a match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Tucson on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Following a week of training back at Gillette Stadium, the team will head to Tucson, Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 14 for the start of the Desert Diamond Cup. This marks the fifth consecutive year the Revolution will participate in the competition, which is held at the Kino Soccer Complex in Tucson. The Revs will take on Real Salt Lake, Sporting Kansas City, and the Houston Dynamo in the first three games of the competition before facing a yet-to-be-determined opponent on Saturday, Feb. 27 to close out the competition.

The Revolution will open the 2016 MLS regular season on Sunday, March 6 when they take on the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium. They will play their home opener six days later on Saturday, March 12 when they host D.C. United at Gillette Stadium.
