New England Revolution to host charity bowling event on July 15

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution announced today that the club will host the inaugural Bowl For A Goal charity bowling event on Wednesday, July 15. Bowl For A Goal, which is presented by Arbella Insurance, will be held at Splitsville Lanes at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Massachusetts with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Massachusetts. “We are proud to be able to come together with Arbella Insurance to support Special Olympics Massachusetts,” Revolution President Brian Bilello said. “This is an opportunity for our club to give back to a tremendous organization while hosting an enjoyable event with our players and coaches for our fans and partners. While this is the first year that we will be hosting Bowl For A Goal, we look forward to seeing it grow in the future.”

For just a $25 donation to Special Olympics Massachusetts, fans can purchase a General Admission ticket to attend the event and have the opportunity to meet some of their favorite Revolution players and a number of local Special Olympic athletes. All donations raised through Bowl For A Goal presented by Arbella Insurance will be donated to Special Olympics Massachusetts prior to the Revs’ first home game after the event, on Saturday, July 18 when New England hosts New York City FC for the first time at Gillette Stadium.

Bowl For A Goal will feature current Revolution players and coaches as well as past Revolution greats, broadcast personalities and many more, including a number of Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes. The evening is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and the introduction of the participants while the bowling will get underway at 6:30 p.m. Following the conclusion of the bowling, raffle prizes and awards will be distributed while silent auctions will conclude. Auction and raffle items will include signed memorabilia from Boston-area and MLS teams as well as tickets, restaurant gift cards, hotel stays and much more.
