DL - Jones Bobblehead

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution fans will have a chance to get their hands on Jermaine Jones on Saturday, May 2 when the club hosts the New York Red Bulls. Fans who are in attendance at Gillette Stadium for that game can receive a limited edition Jermaine Jones bobblehead, which features the New England midfielder in a celebratory fist pump. Bobbleheads will be available at all stadium gates, however quantities are limited so fans are recommended to arrive early in order to assure themselves the best possible chance of capturing this prized collectable.

Revolution season ticket holders are allowed to enter Gillette Stadium prior to all other fans on gameday, giving them the best chance to get a hold of a Jermaine Jones bobblehead before anyone else. Season tickets, which include tickets for the final 14 Revolution regular-season home games of 2015, as well as one additional match start at $293 while single game tickets for all Revolution home games, including the May 2 game against the Red Bulls, start at $26.

This is the fourth straight season in which the Revs have given away bobbleheads, with current Revolution players Kevin Alston, Diego Fagundez, Andrew Farrell, Lee Nguyen and Kelyn Rowe being featured in the past, as was the club’s venerable mascot, Slyde. In addition to Jones, the club will release two additional bobbleheads this season with the identity of those to be released in early July – ahead of the Revs’ home game against New York City FC on July 18 and in early August – ahead of the Revs’ August 15 home game against the Houston Dynamo.

Jones joined the Revolution as a Designated Player in August 2014 and helped lead the club to the Eastern Conference Championship last season, scoring twice and adding four assists in 10 regular-season games and then tallying a goal and two assists in five postseason games as the Revs reached MLS Cup for the first time since 2007. After undergoing offseason surgery to repair a sports hernia, Jones made his 2015 debut last weekend, playing the opening 45 minutes of the 0-0 draw with Columbus Crew SC.
