Revolution home game against Chicago Fire moved to June 13

Schedule change - Revs vs. Chicago

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution announced today that the club’s home game on Wednesday, April 15 against the Chicago Fire will now be played on Saturday, June 13. The game will still kick off at 7:30 p.m.

That game, which will be the first of three meetings this season between the Revs and Fire, and the only one to be played at Gillette Stadium, will now be shown live on Comcast SportsNet.

“We originally agreed to play this game on a midweek date so as to avoid a FIFA international date on June 13, but with the U.S. National Team scheduled to play against Mexico on April 15, we believe that this new date will be better for our fans” Revolution president Brian Bilello said. “We thank Major League Soccer, the Chicago Fire and Comcast SportsNet for helping to accommodate this change.”
