The Revs completed their regular-season sweep of Sporting KC on Friday night with a dramatic 3-2 win over the defending MLS Cup champions. Late game heroics were supplied by Jermaine Jones in the 85th minute when he beat Sporting goalkeeper Erik Kronberg with a rocket from 30 yards out. Check out Brian O’Connell’s most recent piece on ESPNBoston.com to hear what Jay Heaps had to say about Jones’ game-winning performance.

With four games left to play, the Revs are sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference. Friday’s win over Kansas City was the Revs’ first victory at Sporting Park since the $200 million dollar facility was built in 2011. MLSSoccer.com’s Craig Forde caught up with Jermaine Jones after the game to talk about what fueled his stunning go-ahead goal.

Teal Bunbury returned to action on Friday against Sporting KC after serving a one-game suspension for yellow-card accumulation. Bunbury’s return to the lineup gave the Revs a much needed boost against Kansas City. CSNNE’s Brad Feldman discusses what Bunbury brings to the table in this week’s segment of Feldman’s View.
