The Revs earned their fourth straight victory with a 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire last night. After falling behind in the first half, the Revs rallied behind goals – and top-notch celebrations – from Diego Fagundez and Charlie Davies, to complete their second straight comeback win after conceding the first goal of the game.

Jermaine Jones was a man on a mission last night at Gillette Stadium. In just his second start with the Revs, Jones played a physical 90 minutes and tallied the game-winning assist before bowing out of the game in additional time. The Boston Globe’s Frank Dell’Apa caught up with Jones after the game to discuss his dominant performance in the midfield.

With the game tied 1-1 at the beginning of the second half, the Revs needed a boost from the bench to finish off the Chicago Fire. Head coach Jay Heaps looked no further than Charlie Davies. The Revs’ speedy forward didn’t waste a single second, netting the game-winning goal two minutes after stepping onto the field.
