Revolution to host Autism Awareness match on April 26

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will support Autism Awareness Month in partnership with Autism Speaks on Saturday, April 26, when the team presents its annual Autism Awareness game at Gillette Stadium against Sporting Kansas City at 7:30 p.m.

Highlighted activities of the night will include:


  • A representative of Autism Speaks serving as honorary captain during the pregame coin toss
  • A group of volunteers preceding the players’ walk-out with an Autism Speaks flag
  • Coaches and staff wearing blue Autism Speaks pins and wristbands
  • Autism Speaks tables set up around the stadium with information about their awareness, fundraising, science and advocacy efforts.


“We are pleased to continue working with Autism Speaks during Autism Awareness Month,” New England Revolution President Brian Bilello said. “Autism has a great effect on our community’s families, and we’re proud that we can lend our support during the upcoming game.”

“We are so grateful for the support of the New England Revolution for helping us to raise awareness of autism on the field,” said Russ Kenn, Executive Director, New England Chapter of Autism Speaks. “It means a lot to the adults and families in our community that the Revs welcome us to the game and are making accommodations to ensure everyone has a great experience.”
